What to expect in the next 14 days

Plain words, no promises. This is the same note we send with your treatment report.

THE FIRST DAY
Dead bed bugs may be found, and some may seem to move slowly. That is normal. Sleep in your own bed as usual.
THE FIRST WEEK
New bites can still appear. Bites often take days or weeks to show, and some people never react. They are not a sign that treatment failed. Do not use sprays or powders. Keep your home as it is. Do not bring in second hand furniture, mattresses or upholstery, because they may carry bed bugs in and are not covered by your warranty.
DAY 10 TO DAY 14
We message you for a few photographs, including one of each interceptor we left, so that we can issue your Clearance Certificate.
DAY 14 AND AFTER
We will not carry out a reheat sooner than 14 days after treatment, because eggs and any survivors need time to show. If you see live bed bugs, send a photograph or a video. Bites alone are not enough to bring us back sooner. We check your home when we arrive, before we reheat, and your warranty includes one free reheat.
THROUGHOUT YOUR WARRANTY
Leave any interceptors where they are. Check the interceptors once a week and message your case manager if anything is caught.
ANY TIME
If you are worried, message your case manager. A worry is always worth a message.
